Chanel Haul

I recently acquired these items on several separate hauling episodes. Some were also gifts from my dear boyfriend from his latest trip to Hong Kong.

I was immediately attracted to the glitz and glam of the Chanel Makeup Studio in Myer Sydney City. And if you know me once I'm in there's no stopping me!

Of course I did not buy this all at once because that would be crazy, even for me. I pretty much bought a whole face of makeup hehe..

Okay I won't keep you waiting for longer.

What's in the haul-bag?
- 6 Mini Brush Set (LE)
- Lumiere Sculptee De Chanel Highlighting Powder (LE)
- Mat Lumiere Longlasting Luminous Matte Fluid Makeup SPF15 in 30 Beige
- White Essentiel Light Reflecting Whitening Compact Foundation SPF25/PA+++ in 30 Beige Cendre
- Base Lumiere Illuminating Makeup Base (I initially wanted Le Blanc De Chanel but the SA in HK gave Dan the wrong one)
- Soleil Tan De Chanel Bronzing Makeup Base
- Ombre Essentielle Soft Touch Eyeshadow in 417 Beige Lame
- Joues Contraste in 68 Rose Ecrin
- Chanel Allure Extrait De Gloss in 51 Insouciance and 52 Genie
- Chanel Allure Lipstick in 197 Enivree

I might post a review later on after I've used them for a little longer.

I highly recommend getting the Lumiere Sculptee Highlighting Powder before it sells out. I'm a NC30-37 for reference and it is definitely my HG highlighting and perfecting powder. It really makes my skin look flawless with a few sweeps. I'm considering buying a backup.

Perfection Lumiere and the Natural Finish Loose Powder is next on my hit list.

I am definitely hooked!

Zara and More ! (photo heavy)

Zara just opened it's first store in Australia in Westfields Pitt St, Sydney. So I knew I couldn't make it for the opening day but by the second day most of the things I liked have ran out in my size. Of course I couldn't go home empty handed after the early wake up and all the pushing and shoving. I only managed to pick up a basic black dress. I'm going to return again when the crowds are less frantic and hopefully scoop up some more things.

The line as we left Westfields. Thankfully we didn't have to line up :)

I love the tagging system! It tells me what sizes the item is made in so I don't need to rummage through a rack to realize they don't make an AU6 or XS.

I also purchased a few other items that day. My Aunty and I were so bad convincing each other to buy everything we set our eyes on =P

Also, my recent purchases from ASOS which I have delayed to post =)

Illamasqua Haul

"MAKE-UP FOR YOUR ALTER EGO"

Illamasqua at MYER Sydney City is having a special offer until Sunday 30th January 2011, that entitles you to 25% off Illamasqua products if you trade in any piece of your own make-up (full, old, empty or broken!). That sounded like an offer way to good to miss. The best bit is that its 25% off your transaction so you can trade in one item for 25% off as many items as you want on the same transaction. I've tried their nail polishes before and was really impressed so I thought that this is a great opportunity to try their make-up as well. So I binned my ordinary make-up for "extraordinary make-up".

 WHAT'S IN THE HAUL BAG?

Matt Primer 30ml $50.00

 Powder Blusher (Hussy) 4.5g $42.00

SK-II Haul

This was the Gift with Purchase offer that was available at Myer when I went on my recent SK-II haul. The gift was too good to pass. With purchases over $250 you received a vanity case and 3 deluxe samples and if you spent over $500 you received an additional trolley bag (the four wheels type - pretty cool!).

WHAT'S IN THE HAUL-BAG?
(excuse my messy dresing table and the luvo in the background)

(my favourite foundation on the far right - BOBBI BROWN Natural Finish Longlasting Foundation)

I haven't tried this product yet, since I still have some of my Laneige cleanser left. But thought I'd purchase it to take advantage of the offer. Will update my thoughts on it ..

A back-up purchase, since I am almost half way through my large bottle. This was the very first product I purchased from SK-II apart from the facial masks. The mask was what convinced me to invest into their skincare range since it is really expensive and I didn't want to spend so much on something that may not work. But a fter a few weeks of using this product, I have noticed my blemishes clearing up and an overall improvement in the clarity of my skin. I've been using it for almost two months now and within the first two weeks I received compliments on my skin improvements. So overall, thumbs up and I definitely think it was worth the price I paid. Highly recommended ! It's my number one skincare product.
I bought this one about a month ago as a day moisturiser and use it after the Facial Treatment Essense. I love the gel formula as it quickly absorbs into my skin without being sticky or greasy at all. I have noticed that my skin is less oily throughout the day and my dry U-zone is also kept moisturised. It kind of smells like cucumber as well which is pleasant.

This is by far my favourite night cream. I received samples of it when I purchased the Facial Clear Solution and loved it. I use it after the Facial Treatment Essence before bed at night. It did everything it said it would. It has really helped with my large pores, especially in my nose and cheek area. My skin appears smoother and more brightened every morning when I wake up. Again its not oily or greasy, but incredibly moisturising. It doesn't come cheap for a 50g jar but because it's a night cream it should go a long way. Again, definitely worth the price. My skin has never felt so soft.

And this is exactly why I am always so BROKE ! My expensive love and need for luxury brand cosmetics.
