Happy Birthday Daddy !

It was my dad's birthday on Wednesday. Danny and I took my parents to Kobe Jones for dinner. It was so delicious and we all walked out with our bellies most definitely more than full. Here's some photos of our scrumptious meals. I didn't get a chance to take a picture of all the dishes because we were all eager to dig in!

Take me away ...

I love Australia and love being Australian. But there's one thing that really sucks about living here. Everything is so expensive! I mean we pay such high taxes/mark-ups on the things that I love. That's if you can find it here down under. Clothes, shoes and the biggest killers? Designer handbags and cosmetics. I want to go overseas so bad! But knowing me, I would probably try to bring everything home and exceed my luggage limit ... ahem and the luggage of those who are unfortunate enough to be with me.

Okay, I'm dreaming. I don't have even the funds at this point in time to even go on a holiday, not to mention buying anything and everything that catches my eye. This is why I am going start a new wishlist called "things I'd buy overseas-TIBO" and hope that it's going to motivate me to save more.

Too kick things off, the first thing on my list ... A Balenciaga bag ! I really like the "First".. I don't have many mid-sized bags and I think this would be really versatile. A throw on with any outfit and go.. It's listed on the US site for $1,245US. Expensive I know, but no where near as what some forums say you can get it for in Australia. I think someone on Vogue said it was about $2,000AU here. Big difference.

I think a holiday to the US could easily cost me $20,000 or more. Sighs ... Time to start saving ...

A safe place ...

A special package arrived at my door today. I purchased it off eBay as a gift for my bf. Its not just any watch box. It has a built-in motor to wind your automatic watches so that they don't stop when you don't wear them. That's smart if you ask me. It was a decent price and definitely a high quality product. Delivery was express and efficient as well. I received it in two days package after payment, paid on Sunday, received on Tuesday. I know he loves it because he wanted it :) I'd love one myself if I loved watches as much as he does.

Joyful bf gets his present !

Bringing my baby home ..

Finally my baby Louis has come home with me .. It's the Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis Brea MM in Amarante <3 .. It was a tough day's shopping, especially for the boy .. Thanks baby, I love you xx ...

And I got my Chanel earrings that were a gift from the boy replaced because some of the crystals have fallen out. I was so upset because I took proper care of them, but after reading some forums I soon realised that is was a common problem with the classic Chanel cc studs. I'm very pleased with Chanel for replacing them, no questions asked. It was good to learn that they will either repair them or replace them if they have a pair on hand. You definitely get what you pay for .. That is service!

Here's a proper photo of the bag from the LV website. I couldn't get a quality photo with my iPhone :(

Check out my matching zippy wallet here.

Silkee ... Smooooth ! Moroccan Oil Review ...

Moroccan Oil is a miracle in a bottle and delivers everything it promises. The product works to "revive hair, strengthen, conditions and reduces drying time". I've been using this product for just over a week now and it does WONDERS.

I apply it daily to the mid-lengths and ends of my hair whilst it is still damp and styled as usual (which pretty much means leaving it to dry on its own). Once dry my hair felt softer, looked tamed and more alive and with such little effort as well. The best thing about it is that its not greasy or heavy whatsoever and has a nice light scent. In fact, its so light on the hair its hard to notice that it is there. I love it ! I will definitely repurchase it. 5 out of 5.

I think it retails for $49.95AU for the 100ml size. I purchased the trial 25ml for $24.95AU, which I will refill and re-use for travel as you can't store it in plastic. I think it is well worth the price tag.
